Lucy Birch Joins Everest Group as Chief Marketing Officer

Birch to lead global marketing for rapidly growing Everest Group as research firm expands footprint and service portfolio


DALLAS, June 18, 2024 — Everest Group today announced that Lucy Birch has joined the firm as   (CMO). Working out of Everest Group’s London office, Birch will oversee the firm’s global marketing strategy and operations, including support for existing and new research services. Birch and her team will also support the firm’s new conferences business unit, Everest Group Global Events, announced in January.

With offices in North America, Europe and India, Everest Group comprises more than 300 analysts who have managed 5350+ research engagements over the past 5 years. Clients include 8 of the 12 largest companies in the world, 10 of the largest tech companies globally, and 7 of 10 of the largest financial services and healthcare organizations in the world.

Birch brings to Everest Group more than 20 years of marketing and communications leadership experience across business-to-business (B2B), business-to-consumer (B2C) and public sectors.

Birch joins Everest Group from Verian (formerly Kantar Public), where she served as CMO for two years and led the global rebrand, alongside setting up the new marketing function and MarTech infrastructure for the newly divested business. Prior to that, she was the global strategic marketing leader at PwC, responsible for the Big Four firm’s marketing and brand campaign to launch its new global strategy and environmental, social and governance (ESG) proposition around the world. She has also served as marketing and brand director for PwC in the UK, transforming and building a high-performing marketing and brand function. Earlier in her career, Birch worked for KPMG in the UK and Europe as a senior Marketing and Communications leader.
