Deborah Kops serves as an advisor on the research and strategic content of Everest Group’s Global Business Services (GBS) program.
Apart from her work with Everest Group, Deborah is the Principal of Sourcing Change, a role in which she helps leading GBS organizations drive change by rethinking work content, structure, scope, solutions, organizations, and roles in the face of four key disrupters: rapid digitization, generational shifts, changing business dynamics, and the imperative for performance. Her focus is on coaching leaders and supporting them through repeatable tools, including predictive models and playbooks.
Her career has been focused on the design and management of back-office processes, including managing directorships at FleetBoston Financial’s (now Bank of America) Technology and Operations Group and Deutsche Bank; consulting partnerships in major firms; and chief marketing officer of an Indian-legacy business process outsourcer.
Currently, she sits on the advisory boards of alphastream.ai, talentalpha.com, paymentworks.com, and dataops.live, and was a founder/advisor to a Warburg Pincus-funded carve out and a Goldman Sachs-funded roll up. Deborah was also the founder of Liberty Source PBC, the first US onshore business process services company that combines automation and the talents of military spouses to compete with offshore business process delivery.
She is a prolific writer and frequently presents at major industry forums. She also founded and leads The Conference Board’s Global Business Services Council.
