“Wipro has appointed TCS veteran Abid Ali Neemuchwala as group president and chief operating officer, a move analysts said is intended to help it streamline processes and allow CEO TK Kurien latitude to deal with strategic priorities at India’s third-largest software firm. Neemuchwala, 47, who has earned a reputation as a process whiz during his 23-year career at India’s largest software company, will also oversee continental Europe, Latin America and Africa, a major leg up for a person who resigned as V-P and head of BPO business at TCS just last month. “This is a good move by Wipro.
