Suman Upardrasta

Suman Upardrasta is a Vice President at Everest Group, where he co-leads the Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI) Practice. He advises the business and IT leaders of the BFSI enterprises, software vendors, service providers, and investors on a wide range of topics, including go-to-market strategy, sourcing strategy, vendor identification and prioritization, sales enablement, and market positioning.

In his current role, Suman is responsible for driving the growth of the BFSI practice. His focus areas include financial crime and compliance, capital markets, payments, asset finance, technology policy, and insurance transformation.

Before joining Everest Group, Suman served as the CIO for Volvo Financial Services India and was a consulting leader at EY, Cognizant, an TCS. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB) in Bhubaneswar, India, and a B.Tech. from KIIT University, India. Additionally, he completed his executive education at ISM, Hyderabad, and earned a graduate certificate in Technology Policy from The Takshashila Institution in Bangalore, India.
