Nishant Udupa

Nishant Udupa is a Practice Director on the Engineering Services team leading the Engineering and R&D (ER&D) practice at Everest Group. He advises clients on topics related to ER&D spending, technology adoption, and global sourcing across engineering verticals.

His responsibilities include supporting the published research program for the practice across domains such as smart/connected product engineering, embedded engineering, automotive engineering, manufacturing and Industry 4.0, and connectivity and 5G. He also advises enterprises on vendor selection exercises and global providers on go-to-market strategy, competitive intelligence, and market sizing engagements.

Prior to joining Everest Group, Nishant worked as a Consultant with EY India. He holds a master’s in business administration from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS), Pilani.
