Advanced Analytics and Insights (AA&I) Services PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2022

The democratization and enterprise-wide scaling of analytics and insights have taken centerstage, with enterprises becoming digitally mature and investing heavily in analytics initiatives in recent years. The pandemic has further emphasized the need for agile, data-driven decision-making and made analytics an essential navigation tool, which marks a shift in enterprise priorities toward analytics transformation to improve the speed to insights and solutions that drive operational and cost efficiencies.

D&A service providers, including IT/BPO firms, consulting companies, and pure-play analytics providers that offer a rich set of Advanced Analytics and Insights (AA&I) capabilities, domain expertise, and off-the-shelf accelerators, can help enterprises reduce the time-to-value and achieve business outcomes through coherent and enterprise-wide and data-driven decision-making. They are also proactively investing in advanced technologies, including computer vision, Internet of Things (IoT), and Natural Language Processing (NLP), to deliver advanced insights. Considering talent scarcity in these emerging areas, providers have invested in in-house talent building initiatives, certifications, and academic collaborations.

In this research, we analyze the global AA&I services provider landscape and position the providers on Everest Group’s AA&I Services PEAK Matrix® 2022. We also share our analysis on the strengths and limitations of each service provider.
