IT companies are on a massive hiring spree to meet a talent crunch for digital transformation projects, which are expected to grow by around 20% annually over the next decade as companies across the world step up digital transformation initiatives and renew existing contracts with IT vendors.

As businesses seek to develop digital platforms to remain competitive, they require more investment each year, not less, said Peter Bendor-Samuel, CEO of analyst and advisory firm Everest Group.
