Voice of the Partner (VoP): Leading Technology Providers

Global technology ecosystems are rapidly transforming as enterprises increasingly rely on channel partners to deliver integrated, outcome-driven solutions. As technology stacks expand and customer expectations rise, technology providers are reshaping their partner engagement models to drive scale, improve execution consistency, and accelerate value realization. In this environment, channel and alliance partners play a key role, extending market reach, co-building industry solutions, contributing specialized expertise, and enabling customer success across geographies. Yet despite significant investments, partner experience remains uneven. Partners continue to face friction in areas such as contracting, regional execution, technical support access, and monetization pathways – all of which can slow joint growth.

To understand how major technology providers are performing in this evolving landscape, Everest Group conducted a global survey of 300 senior decision-makers across system integrators, managed service providers, independent software vendors, value added resellers, and hardware channel partners. This study captures their perceptions of the top 10 technology providers by market capitalization, analyzing partner experience across six dimensions: relationship health, communication, collaboration, contracting, innovation, and growth outlook. The findings highlight how ecosystem maturity, engagement, agility, and transparency shape provider competitiveness and partner loyalty. This report presents a comprehensive view of partner expectations, areas of alignment and friction, regional differences in ease of doing business, and the strategic priorities required to strengthen partner ecosystems and accelerate joint value creation.
