Everest Group is looking for a Sr. Director, Content Marketing, to play a pivotal role in leading and executing our content marketing strategy for our go to market campaigns, including the development of marketing thought leadership, messaging, value proposition development and for all content types across our core digital channels – web, email and social. They will also have responsibility for ensuring that our PR and Media strategy is aligned to our core themes and that we are delivering strong high quality content through both our owned and earned channels.

This individual will be a key member of the marketing leadership team with oversight of all our content requirements and will be responsible for developing best practice approaches and processes within the Content Marketing team which they will lead,

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical aptitude with a passion for storytelling and the development of messages and content tailored for specific audiences. The candidate must be able to strategically design and execute for a wider range of content needs across campaigns and digital channels, while at the same time being a detail-oriented collaborator, with the ability to partner closely with our expert analysts within the business. A successful team member will be proactive, a strategic thinker, with a bias for action and a focus on outcomes and results.

Content Marketing skills

  • A strong writer and editor with an eye for developing compelling stories which engage specific business audiences
  • A proven track record of expertise in dealing with complex business issues, technology topics as well as macro-economic trends
  • Has worked closely with Marketing Functions to develop go to market campaign narratives and is able to develop content strategies that support across all stages of the buying cycle.
  • Expertise in the development of messaging frameworks and value propositions for products and services in the B2B environment.
  • Expertise and experience of developing content for multi-channels including – long/short form content (white papers/blogs), web, social, digital advertising, events, newsletters and email.
  • Has experience of developing content for specific senior business audiences and tailoring messaging to meet identified needs and expectations.
  • Is able to blend new technologies such as AI with core content marketing skills to drive continual improvements and optimize processes and speed to market.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with wider Marketing Function to develop compelling content marketing strategies for our go to market campaigns in support of driving revenue growth for Everest Group.
  • Partner closely with our Analyst teams as our SMEs (subject matter experts) to ensure that all marketing content is on message, highly targeted, relevant and compelling for our intended audiences and stakeholder groups.
  • Lead the Content Marketing Team to ensure that the high standards of quality that we expect and require are upheld at all times and that appropriate reviews processes are managed and global brand guidelines are followed.
  • Integrate with cross-functional teams, ensure alignment and foster collaboration on firm objectives
  • Implement tools, programs, and automation technologies to drive continuous improvements and efficiencies to how we create, activate, manage and monitor the performance of our marketing content.
  • Stay abreast of the changing content marketing landscape and the changing needs and expectations of our audiences.

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of Content Marketing, Media and Marketing Thought Leadership development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in writing for all digital channels – in both long and short form content types.
  • Experience leading teams where colleagues have overlapping responsibilities and complementary skill sets and where there is both high demand and high volume.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Highly organised and self-motivated with the ability to prioritise tasks.
  • Able to work accurately and meet strict deadlines. Attention to detail
  • Passion for developing communications and content that are focused on a senior B2B audience
  • Proactive, strategic thinker, and swift executioner with the ability to use initiative and solve problems
  • Excellent communication and people skills. Curious, creative and results orientated.
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines. Self-driven, results-oriented, with a positive outlook.
  • Motivated by a fast-paced, entrepreneurial-like atmosphere, where you can make significant contributions.
  • Professional services firm experience preferred.
