Job Overview

Everest Group is looking for a Client Director with sales prospecting and execution experience to join its growing sales team. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of sales experience and possess strong hunter and business development abilities. Client Directors own the full sales cycle by using discovery calls to leverage understanding of new stakeholders’/business unit leaders’ priorities and challenges and then partnering with our industry expert analysts to provide a customized suite of research products to Enterprise customers and Service Providers.

Key Responsibilities

  •  Continually engage and build solid relationships with clients and prospects
  •  Maximize territory coverage by primarily prospecting
  •  Interact extensively with new and existing customers and analyst partners to drive revenue
  •  Engage in an end-to-end sales cycle: locate and build leads then convert those leads into clients
  •  Prepare professional and effective customer proposals
  •  Negotiate deals to closure with analyst pursuit team
  •  Develop strong knowledge of Everest Group offerings and the benefits they provide to clients
  •  Develop understanding of Everest Group contracts, pricing models, and value propositions
  •  Adhere to Everest Group’s sales process and methodology
  •  Accurately forecast opportunities
  •  Use Salesforce.com in adherence to Everest Group procedures
  •  Familiarity with and adherence to all company policies
  •  Available for limited travel as needed

Requirements/Aptitude

Candidates must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Business-to-business sales experience; relevant sales experience to the role
  • Demonstrated prospecting expertise and an ability to open doors
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills
