Although the Philippines has overtaken India in call centers, the country is looking for a broader business process outsourcing (BPO) role. According to Everest Group’s research, the BPO industry could be worth US$200-280 billion in 2012, 90 percent of which in non-voice BPO. The Philippines’ non-voice BPO work only accounted about one-fifth of its total BPO revenues. Read more.
