Cecilia Edwards possesses 20 years of experience in strategy and management consulting, having worked with a number of Fortune 500 corporations, middle market companies, private equity firms, and non-profit organizations. She brings this strategic expertise to her Everest Group clients with a focus in next generation IT strategies, enterprise as-a-service models, IT enabled business transformation, and service provider growth strategies.

Prior to joining Everest Group, Cecilia was Chief Strategy Officer and Senior Vice President of Client Services at Telligent, a leader in the community and collaboration software industry. She created the company’s community strategy and processes; advised and consulted Telligent customers to enable them to develop business solutions and deliver value through online communities; led pre-sales efforts; and developed thought leadership pieces on implementing world-class communities. She was also responsible for redesigning the company’s community analytics product to allow customers to gather richer intelligence from their communities and make data-driven decisions to meet their strategic objectives.

Cecilia’s strategic background was shaped by spending nearly seven years with The Boston Consulting Group, providing general strategy and business consulting to Fortune 500 and other major corporations.  Working across several industry and functional practice areas, some of her projects included redesigning sales force for aircraft parts distributor; performing strategic analysis for top medical school; conducting competitive operations study for U.S. automobile manufacturer; designing global export organization for snack food company; designing performance metrics system and financial model for top medical school; developing a strategy for inner city call centers; and creating a process for BCG Dallas community investment efforts, validating a business concept and developing a launch plan for a power transmission ASP and B2B exchange; establishing a detailed business case including overall strategy and tactical execution plans for an Asian based Internet data solutions provider; constructing a North American strategy and organization design for an electric power generator and trader; designing a growth strategy for a U.S. based cement producer; developing a value maximizing strategy for a major player in the travel and tourism industry to monetize its IT assets – including an internet based business; and creating a post-merger strategy for a major utility.

A veteran officer of the United States Air Force, Captain Edwards began her professional career as a launch manager for the Titan Space Launch Satellite Programs Division.
