Leadership
Vikash Jain
Vikash Jain possesses more than a decade of management consulting experience in business and operational strategy, performance improvement, process engineering, and global sourcing. He has worked with clients in the U.S., the U.K., India, the Middle East, Australia, Korea and Japan, and in the Financial Services, Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail, Media, Manufacturing, and EPC industries.
Vikash’s depth and breadth of expertise enables him to serve all three of Everest Group’s client segments. For buy-side enterprise clients, his primary focus is on driving transformative initiatives for organizations in India and the greater region. For example, he has been advising a large Media corporation on a significant IT transformation engagement that will result in the creation of a shared services organization with significantly lower operating cost than its current complex, distributed set-up. He has also led a variety of global sourcing advisory engagements, including assisting an Australian retailer develop its IT strategy, helping a Fortune 10 energy corporation capture more value from its existing outsourcing relationships, working with a global Consumer Packaged Goods manufacturer to evaluate opportunities and models for offshoring its plant and manufacturing engineering services, and helping a leading insurer evaluate and assess its going-forward sourcing strategy.
Vikash also drives Everest Group’s investment community-focused practice, and has advised a variety of private equity firms in opportunities that have resulted in several unique and marquis transactions in the Healthcare industry and the platform-based finance and accounting space.
Additionally, Vikash is one of Everest Group’s thought leaders serving outsourcing service providers, advising on a range of issues including go-to-market strategy, new offering design and launch, operational capability benchmarking, and pricing strategies.
Before Everest Group, Vikash was a Senior Consultant in Accenture’s Strategy Practice. In that role, he developed business strategies, analyzed business processes, identified value creation opportunities, provided critical insight into proposed process improvements, and structured the blueprint for moving forward with business transformation solutions for clients in a wide range of industries. For example, for a global energy corporation he conducted a detailed operational and financial analysis to compare the performance of upstream and downstream segments across geographies. He also benchmarked key metrics against the client’s competitors to identify areas of operational improvement.
A technical functions analysis and business process reengineering engagement he led for a major chemical company resulted in productivity improvements, waste reduction and higher efficiency, which drove savings of $2 million over 18 months. He also defined the IT requirements to support the reengineered processes, and conducted a high-level fit assessment of ERP modules.
And in the financial services industry, he helped an asset management company evaluate the feasibility of insourcing, redefined a regional bank’s strategy, and developed a business plan for a life insurance company entering the liberalized non-life insurance market.
Before Accenture, Vikash worked for a major multinational bank in India. There, he assisted a portfolio of mid-sized corporate clients by developing strategies to help them manage their foreign exchange exposure and related risk.
