Todd Furniss

Chief Operating Officer

Todd Furniss oversees operations and ensures the highest level of service to Everest Group clients. He is responsible for Everest’s service delivery in the United States and our expansion into Asia. Todd heads an executive team of consultants who serve primarily Fortune 500 clients worldwide. With his background in corporate law, operations, strategy and acquisitions, he is routinely sought after for comment and insights by equity analysts and business journalists.


During his 14-year career in management and value-oriented business solutions consulting, Todd has conceived, implemented and managed a wide range of corporate business development strategies, including approaches to key growth markets, acquisitions and business alliances, relationship development and technical solution development.

Before joining Everest Group in 2001, Todd served most recently as director, corporate business development, for EDS, where he was responsible for developing and executing all growth strategies in the Asia Pacific region. He also was named to the EDS Asia/Pacific regional operating team.

In his early years with EDS, Todd served as a vice president, with management responsibility for large components of the company’s strategic business units, as well as new service offerings and operating and streamlining service delivery. He managed outsourcing profit-and-loss statements exceeding US$300 million in annual revenues and more than 45 client accounts in North America. As a corporate lawyer at EDS and at CSC, he wrote and negotiated hundreds of transactions, including large-scale information technology transactions and federal compliance programs.

At EDS, Todd was a part of the leadership team for a number of mega-deals with a total contract value of more than US$6.6 billion. He developed and implemented first-of-kind alliances and go-to-market strategies providing contexts for acquisitions and organic growth in both the U.S. and Asia Pacific markets. His expertise in critical analysis, strategic negotiation and executive leadership in leading cross-functional teams was key to the success of EDS’ Asia Pacific Growth Plan and is still considered the model for EDS business development activity throughout the world.

Todd received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Old Dominion University and a Juris Doctor degree from George Mason University School of Law.
