Known for extensive expertise in information technology, Steve Haas demonstrates a results-oriented consulting approach that reflects a balance of both strategic and tactical skills. A Principal with excellent attention to detail, along with an ability to listen, probe insightfully and correlate needs with opportunities, Steve consistently focuses on the most critical issues for successful client outcomes. He has performed sole source and competitive bid scenarios, needs assessments, solution development and benchmarking analyses, and has extensive experience in value creation analysis, evaluation, and negotiations.

Building on a career spanning 30 years in senior management and advisory positions, he has a thorough experiential understanding of outsourcing providers’ perspectives on delivery of IT services as well as hands-on knowledge of customer needs scenarios. He understands how to penetrate barriers to business transformation and organizational turnaround initiatives and employs techniques to achieve desired outcomes. He has a proven track record of improving business performance and increasing shareholder value for Fortune 500 companies and other organizations, primarily in telecommunications, healthcare, oil and gas, federal and local government, transportation, retail, and automobile manufacturing.

Before joining Everest Group, Steve served for 18 years in strategic Regional Management and Account Management positions with EDS. He led software development initiatives and crafted outsourcing solutions centered on process reengineering with a focus on reducing cycle time, increasing first-pass-yield and improving quality.

Steve has also served as Director, Production Support Services, at Greyhound Lines, where he was responsible for establishing infrastructure strategy for the incorporation of new technologies; Vice President, Operations, at AIVIA, where he managed all IT activity; and as an independent consultant, working with an internet systems development company in program and project management supporting delivery of eCommerce capabilities.

Steve has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the United States Air Force Academy.
