Darryl Conley

Equally comfortable on the strategic consulting side as well as the implementation and operational delivery side of the business, Darryl Conley brings over 12 years of experience leading transformation programs involving change management, process re-design and post-merger integration. He has also been responsible for delivering cost and efficiency savings and enhanced revenue in sectors including financial services, media and consumer industries, capital goods, public services, business process outsourcing and shared services. Darryl has a strong off-shoring background and has years of vertical market experience in retail, media, consumer and industry, and financial services. He is also both a commercial business leader and a highly capable project manager.
Previously, Darryl was a Vice President at Goldman Sachs within the Human Capital Management division, responsible for project leadership and change management leadership. He was involved in implementing an off-shore HR model in India, designing an operational governance model which was subsequently adopted by the joint vendor/client team, and designing and delivering global change management programs. Darryl also worked as a Vice President of the Strategy Group in Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs. The aim of this group was to enhance client relationships by providing complementary insight and strategic perspective on potential deals. The group also advised the firm’s executive management on issues such as the potential for off-shoring select business support activities.
Prior to Goldman Sachs, Darryl was a Principal, Business Transformation at KPMG Consulting. He gained extensive experience in client advisory and practice operations, including sales and business development, strategy formulation and solution implementation. At KPMG, he worked with the senior management of global organizations, major national companies and government departments in the areas of strategy and planning, performance improvement, cost reduction, post-merger integration and new business creation.
Darryl also served as a Senior Consultant for The Retail Group Ltd., a niche management consultancy focused on the retail and consumer services industry as well as the retail property and development industry. The scope of his engagements included operational due diligence, economic impact studies and merchandise reviews in the UK and Ireland.
Darryl received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Manchester, and his MBA from the Warwick University Business School. He has also passed both the US and UK Securities Examinations.
