Consulting Lifestyle

Being a consultant means working closely with our clients on their challenges and adding value as a member of a team. Most of our client teams travel to domestic client sites weekly, leaving home on Monday morning and returning on Thursday. Ocassional international travel is also required. Fridays are spent in the Everest office reconnecting with colleagues, attending training, and collaborating on internal projects and meetings. That allows greater connection to co-workers, a more collaborative environment and better opportunities for personal career development.

Because collaboration and contribution to the firm is a priority at Everest, we balance your client work with opportunities that allow you to contribute your expertise, strategic insights, and innovative thinking in efforts to evolve our methodology, decision frameworks and other intellectual capital. You will also have opportunities to shape the industry by authoring thought-leadership articles and market-analysis whitepapers.

We understand that consulting can be a demanding career. Everest is committed to helping our people maintain a healthy work/life by balancing the demands of quality client work with the opportunity to pursue personal aspirations, spending time with their families and contribute to their communities. Our team members have a variety of interests outside of work and we encourage them to actively balance work with family priorities and outside activities.
