Prior to joining Everest Group Allen worked with EDS for 22 years in numerous significant roles. As Division Vice President, BellSouth Alliance, he participated in producing Managed Network Services (MNS), a joint marketing alliance targeted to generate US$11 million in year-one sales to the mid-market. As Manager, Telecom Desk, he was responsible for the reciprocal relationship with WorldCom, revolving primarily around an IT services contract to WorldCom and a network services contract to EDS, with each agreement valued at approximately US$6 billion over 10 years. Allen’s notable client work at EDS also includes solution development, risk analysis, and serving as senior client executive on a US$900 million, 10-year outsourcing opportunity for a leading freight transportation firm.
Early in his career, Allen was Network Services Supervisor for AT&T/Southwestern Bell Telephone, responsible for the design and testing of 56 KB digital data and 1.544 MB wideband circuits and the design of point-to-point and multipoint local analog data circuits (2W and 4W).
